Thank you to Steamboat Springs Colorado Jr. Wranglers for including a game with the Bombers in their Okanagan/Shuswap tour. Colorado had size and strength on their side. They played a physical game with a strong defense. The Bombers, however, pulled together and dominated with passing and shots on goal, resulting in 10 goals. A shutout for our goalies. Well done, Bombers!

Semi-Finals: Saturday, April 8. Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 5 BC Spartans- 4
Thank you to the BC Spartans for the most exciting game of the tournament! At the end of the regulation time, the score was tied 4-4. Then the game went into 4 on 4 overtime. Then 3 on 3 overtime. Then 2 on 2 overtime! What an intense battle! After six minutes of 2 on 2 overtime, the Bombers scored! Well done, team! On to the Finals! |

Thank you to the PNW for an exciting FINAL. The Bombers played hard, and more importantly, they played as a team--a fantastic display of team play from start to finish! Saturday, April 15 Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 2 Sherwood Park Eagles- 8 Thanks fo the Sherwood Park Eagles for a challenging game! We ran into a very big, strong, physical, skilled hockey team. The Bombers overcame a slow start with a strong third period, battling right to the end. A true sign of team character. |

Saturday, April 15 Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 4 Chilliwack Jr. Chiefs- 4 Thanks to the Chilliwack Jr. Chiefs for a great game! The boys had a lot of possession but came up against a determined team fighting for a playoff position. However, the tie put the Bombers into the playoffs. Good luck, Bombers! |

Sunday, April 16- Semi-Final Game Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 3 Sherwood Park Eagles- 4 Thanks again to the Sherwood Park Eagles! This was THE GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT! The Bombers were ready for the rematch. Knowing what to expect, the boys showed up with their best effort and fought right until the end. The Bombers gave the Eagles their toughest game in the tournament. The Bombers were the first to score and then it went back and forth. It wasn't until the last 40 seconds that Sherwood Park was able to secure their win and move on to the finals. We wish Sherwood Park luck in the finals! |

Sunday, April 16- Bronze Medal Game Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 5 NEBC Chill- 3 Thanks to the NEBC Chill for a great finish to a fantastic weekend! The Bombers were tired after their previous game but still pulled together as a team to create scoring opportunities and great defense. Again fighting until the end--not willing to give up the Bronze Medal. Well done, Bombers! BRONZE MEDAL WINNERS! |

Saturday, April 29 Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 2 vs. Jr. Dinos- 1 Thanks to the Calgary Jr. Dinos for a good game. Once again, size did not favour the Bombers. The Dinos were strong and physical. The Bombers had their work cut out for them making the final minutes especially exciting as the Dinos pulled their goalie and fought right until the end. |

Saturday, April 29 Okanagan Jr. Bombers- 3 vs. Storm- 4 Thanks to the Storm for an incredible game. The Bombers played the Storm last year and lost 11-2. This is a gauge of how far the Bombers have come in a year. Such a close game and well played by both teams. We wish the Storm the best of luck in the Semi-Finals. |
